Sarawak Traditional Borneo Local Product: SESAR UNJUR ~Dried Shrimp/ Smoked Shrimp⁠

Matu and Daro are well known for their variety of seafood and products made from seafood. One of the famous food product here is Sesar Unjur (dried shrimp/ smoked shrimp). Sesar Unjur is from red shrimp or better known as "payak" by the local community that is processed and smoked until dry. The manufacturing process is very complicated and meticulous to ensure it is quality, and durable without the use of any preservatives and only uses fresh shrimp. ⁠
